Obituary

Joan Lee Schoeneman, nee Forkash, age 87, of Northbrook, beloved wife, high school sweetheart, and best friend for over 69 years of the late Allen Schoeneman; loving mother of Ron (Laura) Schoeneman and Gary (Michelle) Schoeneman; adored Grandma Joan of Mitchell (Brittny), Stefanie (Casey), Justin, Marc, Alyssa (Ian), Katlyn, and Nicole; proud great-grandmother of Jana, Aviva, and Sadie; dear daughter of the late Maurice and the late Marion Forkash; cherished sister of late Barbara (Harold) Riffer; treasured aunt, friend, and business associate to many. Joan was the Co-Founder and comptroller of A. Schoeneman & Co. Inc. for the past 58 years. Joan was also a diehard Cubs fan, never missing one game, whether in person or on TV. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world, and she checked on them regularly. Service Friday, 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Joan’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
