Obituary

Jerome “Jerry” Goldstick, just days away from celebrating his remarkable 100th birthday, loving and devoted husband for 65 years of Myrna Lee Goldstick, nee Hyman; outstanding father of Linda Wilson, Diane (Tom) Meagher, and Susan Goldstick; wonderful grandfather of Henry, Charlie, and Michael; beloved son of the late Helen and the late Harry Goldstick; dear son-in-law of the late Etta and the late Henry Hyman; brother of the late Bernice, the late Frances, and the late Leonard. We wish to express our gratitude to our dear Albert and John who enormous care and love to Jerry. Jerry was born in Chicago and graduated from Senn High School, Northwestern University in 1948, and Northwestern University Law School in 1951. His respected and illustrious law career spanned over seven decades in conjunction with his passion for his real estate properties. Jerry served honorably during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He loved being a resident of Lincolnwood for more than 60 years. Jerry was so proud of his Jewish heritage and was a true patriot. He was a life-long Chicago Cubs and Northwestern Wildcats fan. His presence at Wrigley Field will be dearly missed. Most of all, he loved his family fiercely. He had endless integrity, impeccable character and a work ethic second to none. He will be missed every single day by those who knew and loved him. Jerry was one in a million, he was his own man, and he never gave up.  Service Friday, 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.).
