Obituary

Jeffrey "Jeff" Smoler, 78, passed away on February 16, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen (nee' Dym) for 43 wonderful years. Loving father of Marcy (Todd) Woodhouse, Stacy Smoler (Dr. Nathan Finch) and Dana Smoler (Dr. Jared Schprechman). Cherished "Papa" of Jacob and Alyssa Woodhouse and Ilan Finch. Adored son of the late Arnold and Dorothy (nee' Kaluzna). Much loved brother of Rick (Phyllis), Glenn (Becky) and Lynda (Arnold) Rose; wonderful brother in-law of Jack (Maureen) Dym; dear uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Jeff loved baseball, big band and jazz music, all things trivia, Montreal bagels, and was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed playing the drums, especially at his younger daughters' weddings. He was a well-known interior designer and was a "Fellow" in the American Society of Interior Design. He was an active member of Congregation Beth Shalom. Memorial donations may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, www.bethshalomnb.org. Chapel service, Tuesday February 20, 2024, 2:30pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W.
