Obituary

Jeanette Goldstein (nee Siegel), of Baltmore, MD, passed away on Friday, September 10th, 2021. She is survived by her children, Richard Greene and Lynn Greene: grandchildren, Melissa (Luke) Torretti and Stacy Bensky, and her great-grandchildren, Sylas Bennett Toretti and Cassidy Rae Torretti. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Goldstein and her parents, Adolph and Esther Siegel, of Washington, D.C., and her many beloved canine companions.

Following attendance at George Washington University and the National Art School, she worked for the US Coast and Geodetic Survey in Washington, D.C. She had a love for theatre and the arts, and was an avid volunteer at Sinai Hospital and many local theatres. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and her generous and loving spirit will live on in all who knew her.

Services at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136 or the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211.
