Jan M. Pomerantz, nee Melamed, age 67, of Chicago, beloved wife of the late Harold Pomerantz; loving mother of Michael (Hanne) Pomerantz and Clare Pomerantz; adored GrandPom of Harrison; devoted daughter of the late Dr. Jack (Marcia) Melamed and Dorothe Melamed; dear sister of Jim (Carmen) and Alan Melamed; fond sister-in-law of Sandra Gohn and Ellen Politzer; treasured aunt and friend to many. Jan will be dearly missed by Marcia’s children, Debra (late Bob) Grossman, Daniel (Dr. Katie Jones) Schreibman and Tamar (Justin Anderson) Schreibman and their children.
