Janis Fineberg (nee Starr) 73, beloved wife of Stuart Fineberg, happily married for 50 years; loving mother of Justin (Rachael) and Dr. Steven Fineberg; cherished Nanie of Aubrie, Drew and Lacie; adored sister of Randi (Israel) Savitzky; treasured aunt to several nieces and nephews. Janis was a dedicated teacher, she also served on the AVOCA District 21 School Board for eight years, the last two serving as President. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Respiratory Heath Association, www.resphealth.org or North Shore University Health System Foundation Hospice, https//:foundation.northshore.org/hospicepalliativecare. Funeral services Wednesday, Oct 6, 10:30 AM at Am Yisrael Conservative Congregation, 4 N. Happ Rd, Northfield, (masks required) interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie.
