Obituary

Jacob Meyer Benus, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at the age of 75. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Benus (nee Katz); children, Mia (Lee) Blecher and Avi (Liba) Benus; sister, Sarah Lehnhoff; grandchildren, Naomi Benus, Moby Benus, Devora Benus, Joshua Benus, Dara Blecher, and Shai Blecher; and niece and nephew, Marcie Lehnhoff and Nathan (Brittany) Lehnhoff. Jacob was predeceased by his parents, Fannie and Moris Benus; and brother, David Benus.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at 9:30 am. Interment Beth Tfiloh Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in Jacob's memory may be sent to Beth Tfiloh Congregation, 3300 Old Court Road, Baltimore, MD 21208 or the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning at 7709 Crossland Road, Pikesville, Maryland 21208. Shacharis will be Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday at 7:30 am, and Sunday at 9:00 am. Mincha-ma'ariv will be Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, and Monday at 6:35 pm. The family asks that there be no visitors 12-3 and 5-6 daily. The family requests anyone attending Funeral or Shiva services to please wear a mask.
