Obituary

Jack L. Krause, 78, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026.

Beloved husband and best friend of Fern (née Weinstein) for 58 wonderful years; loving father of Martin (Kathy), Michelle (Moe), and the late Robert (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Brandon; much-loved brother of Steven (Marla), Michael (Marguerite), and Donald; treasured uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.

Jack grew up in Chicago's Albany Park and West Rogers Park neighborhoods. He was a graduate of Mather High School and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

In 1968, Jack married his beloved Fern, and together they built a beautiful life and family. Over the years, they made their home in Glenview, Northbrook, Buffalo Grove, Tower Lakes, and Vernon Hills.

While a dedicated professional, Jack always made time for what mattered most - his family. He cherished vacations and being actively involved in his children's lives through Scouting, sailing, hiking, and camping. Family was his greatest joy and among his proudest accomplishments.

Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
