Obituary

Jack Colen, age 91, of Glenview, formerly of Morton Grove, loving husband and best friend for 66 years of Arlene Colen, nee Burns; beloved father of David (Nicole) Colen and Steven (Sharon) Colen; adored Papa of Carly Colen, Lauren (Dustin) Rolfe, and Branden (Sadie) Colen; proud great grandfather of Aliza, Kolton, and Hudson; devoted son of the late Joe and the late Ida Colen; dear brother of Lenny Colen and the late Robert (Joanne) Colen; treasured friend to many. Jack was lovingly cared for by Betty, Camille, Jeric, Abby and Violet. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Post Korean Conflict Era. Jack had everlasting entrepreneurial spirit. He was a wonderful family man; he took great pride and interest in his family’s accomplishments. Jack was a long-time member of GEL. He was truly loved by all. Service Sunday, 11:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Jack’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
