Jack David “Jackie” Ashman, age 76, of Wheeling, formerly of Arlington Heights and Chicago; entrepreneur, business owner, and expert salesman; beloved husband and best friend for 52 years of the late Janis, nee Millman; loving father of Jill (James Schaefer) Sutherland and Jeanne (fiancé Rob Farina) Czajka; adored grandpa of Alexi (Jared) Payne, Hayley Sutherland, Zach and Cameron Czajka; cherished Cat Daddy to his fur buddies Charlie and BooBoo; devoted son of the late Albert and the late Tillie Ashman; dear brother of Mel (Roberta) Ashman and the late Joseph (late Leah) Ashman and the late Hon. Martin (Betty) Ashman; treasured uncle and friend to many. Memorial Service Sunday, 12 Noon at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.).
