Irving L. Blackman, age 91. Beloved husband of Sallie nee Sitnick. Loving father of Linda Blackman, Jeff Blackman (Sheryl nee Kantor), Tammie Blackman Brown (Alan). Proud Papa and Gramsie of Ian, Felise, Chad, Brittany (fiancée Rob), Amanda, Josh (fiancé Batel), David and Dana. Dear brother of Benny (the late Lenore) and Alvin (June). Fond brother in law of the late Teddy and Sidney. Uncle, friend and business advisor to many. Devoted son of the late Nathan and Bernice and son in law of the late Charles and Ida Sitnick. Naval Veteran and Legionnaire. Service Thursday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, American Red Cross or Alzheimer’s Association.
