Irene Feit

Obituary

Irene Feit, lover of nature and justice, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving husband Michael Feit and daughters Elizabeth Lasko and Susan Feit. Irene Mischel Feit was born in Drohobycz, Poland, but called Highland Park and then Sedgebrook her home. She was an avid bridge player and theatergoer. Irene loved water and went to the pool whenever she could. She was fiercely proud of her four grandchildren Gilad Stern, Talya Stern, Max (Aubrey) Lasko, and Arianna Lasko and felt lucky her daughters married such wonderful men Eitan Stern and Phillip Lasko. On March 17th, Michael and Irene would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. She will be missed by many. May her memory be blessed. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Chicago Botanic Gardens (www.chicagobotanic.org/donate) or the American Society for Yad Vashem (www.yadvashemusa.org/donate) and would be greatly appreciated.
