Herbert "Herb" Schinberg, 85, beloved husband and best friend of Francine, nee Rose for 60 wonderful years; loving father of Lori (Marty) Magida, Paula (Rick) Quagliato and Ron Schinberg; cherished "Zad" of Jennifer (Cory) Ambrose, Glenn (Michelle) Magida, Kevin Magida, Bari (Steve) Kanefsky, Max Freed, Jake Freed and Emily Schinberg; adored great grandfather "Zad" of Tyler and Taylor Ambrose, Cameron and Maya Magida, and Eva Kanefsky; devoted son of the late Isadore and Gertrude; dear brother Cheryl Mendelsohn, the late Rosalie (Hillard) Lovett and late Jerry (Sally); fond brother-in-law of Dr. Herb Rose; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Thursday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
