Obituary

Herbert J. Miller, age 90, of Northbrook, beloved husband of the late Joan Miller, nee Ornstein; loving father of Susie (David) Waitz; adored grandfather of Erin Waitz and Michael (Aviva) Waitz; proud great grandfather of Jonah and Emma Waitz; devoted son of the late Clement and the late Rose Miller; dear brother of the late Sol Miller and the late Marvin (late Ann) Miller; fond brother-in-law of the late Corky (late Ray) Spector; special companion of Barbara Strongin and former companion of Marlene Weinstein; treasured uncle of Penny (Larry) Landis, David (Kyoko) Spector and an uncle to many others. Also, a friend to many. Herb started his career in the family plumbing business, then became a top salesman for industrial food processing equipment and janitorial supplies.  Herb loved his family and loved to travel, visiting many places with Joan. Memorial Service Monday, 3:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Herb’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to American Friends of Magen David Adom, afmda.org or American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
