Obituary

Helen Riske (nee Rubin) beloved wife to the late Sam, passed peacefully at her home at age 104¾. She was a caring step-mother of Mark Riske (Pam), Gerald Riske (Arlene), and Cary Riske (Donna), and former daughter-in-law Barbara Riske, cherished Grandma to Madison Riske (Bri), Rachel Lempa (Chris), and Ryan Riske, treasured Bubbi to Marshall, Emberlyn, and Liliana Lempa, dear sister of the late Edith Goranson, and the late former brother-in-law Lenny Goranson, loving Auntie to Linda Lenoff (Elliott) and Steve Goranson (Shari), and Great Auntie to R’ Josh Goranson (Dina), Chana Gorin (R’ Moshe), R’ Chaim Gorin, and Yosef Goranson, and a Great Great Auntie to many. A special thank you to Nina Khozey-Fedzin and Nadia Kowal for their devoted 10 years of loving caregiving. 1pm Graveside and Livestream service on Monday, May 25 at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. *Parking is in back of the building. Take the sidewalk to the back entrance. Someone should be there to let you in, as the buzzer doesn’t always work. If no one is there, call Elliott or Jack to let you in. Go through to the lobby and take the elevator to the first floor. Turn right, off the elevator. There will be a dairy kosher lunch on Monday.*
