Obituary

Helen Srebnik Burnstine, age 89, of Wilmette, passed away peacefully on May 12th. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Fredric Burnstine. Loving mother of Janet (Lewis) Steinberg and Mark (Jean) Burnstine. Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Zoosie) Bloomberg, Marci Steinberg, Jill (Adam) Cohn, and Jeffrey Burnstine, as well as Sparky and Charlie. Dear daughter of the late Morris and Ida Srebnik. Beloved sister of the late Estelle (Eugene) Shapiro, and aunt of Michelle (Harry) Maltz. Helen was an amazing woman with a flair for style, particularly when it came to her eye glass collection. Her vitality, strength, love and friendship will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
