Harvey Shaps, 93, passed away on August 26, 2024. Beloved husband of late Thelma for 66 wonderful years; devoted father of Bradley Shaps and Linda Shaps Shanin (Martin Shanin); cherished grandfather of Erica Shaps (Michael Doron), Jackie Shaps (Greg Sanders), Jeff Shanin (Jamie Erickson Shanin); proud great-grandfather of Morgan Shanin; dear brother of late Julian Shaps (the late Dottie);loving uncle of Mark and Beth Liebman, Robert, Michael, Larry and the late Scott Shaps; loving of cousin Joanne (Alan) Vidinsky, the late Arnold (Arlene) Chick, Robert (Boni Bryant) Chick and friend and mentor of many. Memorial contributions may be made to the Congregation Beth Shalom Shaps Family Fund supporting programming for families with young children, 3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062.
