Obituary

Harriet Starr, nee Greenberg, age 92, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, beloved wife and best friend for 58 years of the late Pat Starr; loving mother of Ron (Debbie) Starr and Susan (David) Kalfen; adored grandmother of Dana (Eric) Glaser, Jori (Matt) Hutter, Ian Kalfen, and Ali (fiancé John) Kalfen; proud great grandmother of Luke, Maya, Zev, Harper, and Eden; devoted daughter of the late Henry and the late Sadie Greenberg; cherished sister of the late Howard, the late Leonard, and the late Ruthie Greenberg; dear sister-in-law of the late Irving Starr and the late Rose Klein. Harriet was known as the “cool and hip” grandmother, always dressed to the nines. Nothing gave Harriet greater joy than having her family around during the holidays, especially visiting her and Pat in Florida. Harriet loved golf, shopping, playing cards and slot machines. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. The graveside service on Tuesday at Shalom Memorial Park will be private. Donations in Harriet’s memory would be appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Info: The Goldman Funeral Group, www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com (847) 478-1600.
