Harold “Jay” Rothenberg, MD, CAPT MC USNR(R), 79

Beloved husband of Maija nee Moilanen. Stepfather to Rowan Balagot and Alana (Rebecca Louisell) Balagot. Brother of Sheribel (Robert Lehrer) Rothenberg. Uncle of Emily (B.J. Rimel) Lehrer and Eli (Kari) Lehrer. Son of the late Harold and Florence. A Navy physician during the Vietnam war. Service Wednesday, 10:30 am at Emanuel Congregation, 5959 N. Sheridan, Chicago. Interment Rosehill Cemetery. Face masks that cover the face and nose are required to attend the funeral service or interment. Non-immunized persons are requested to participate on Zoom only.
