Harold Chabner, age 86, died peacefully on December 22, 2023; beloved father of Jeff (Hope) Shamberg, Rick Shamberg, and Gregg (Nancy) Shamberg, adored grandfather of Jake, Becky, Ari, Maya, Ben, Jesse, and Emmy; devoted son of the late Kalman and the late Luba Chabner; cherished brother of the late Bernard (Joyce) Chabner; dear uncle of Howard (Michele DeSha) Chabner and Barbara (Marshal Datkowitz) Chabner; treasured great uncle and friend of many. Family was central to Harold, and he will be deeply missed by his loving family. Graveside service Sunday, December 24th 10:00 a.m. CT at Waldheim Cemetery, Gate 282, 1700 S. Harlem Ave., North Riverside, IL. The service will be livestreamed on Harold’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
