Obituary

Harold Berg, four days shy of his 94th birthday, adored son of the late Jacob Berg and the late Carrie Berg Randell; beloved husband of Judy Berg, née Davis, happily married for the past 55 years, and the late Marlys Berg; loving and devoted father of Jerrold Berg, Melanie Croft, Larry (Bonnie) Berg, Julie (Steven Einhorn) Berg-Einhorn and Salli (Don Seeley) Berg Seeley; cherished grandfather of Adam Croft, Jamie (Richie) Yates, Jordyn (Robert) Langer, Jory (Caroline) Berg, Jonathan Berg-Einhorn, Benji Berg-Einhorn, Max (Savannah Hinde-Seeley) Seeley, Ryan Croft, Tyler Seeley, and Danny Seeley; proud great-grandfather of Charley Yates and Owen Berg; fond brother-in-law of Cynthia and Bob Goldstein. Harold was a respected and beloved attorney for over 60 years and an honorary board member and past president of the board of directors of Shore, an organization committed to improving the quality of life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He cared deeply about the interests and wellbeing of others, often putting their needs before his own, even up until the very end. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and most anyone who had the good fortune to cross paths with him over his long life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shore Community Services, www.shoreservices.org . Chapel service Monday April 7, 2025, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
