Obituary

Gregg R. Hornyak, DDS, age 56, of Crystal Lake, respected dentist who practiced dentistry for 30 years; cherished brother of Scott (Pina) Hornyak; loving fiancé of Tami Zuck; adored uncle of Julia Hornyak; devoted son of the late George, Jr. and the late Jeanette Hornyak; treasured friend and trusted professional of many. He will be dearly missed by his feline friend Otis. We will remember Gregg for his selflessness, caring and kind nature, and his wonderful sense of humor. He was a true foodie, he loved to cook; he enjoyed traveling, especially cruising; and Door County was his “happy place.” Service Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. CT at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Under Recent Services, click onto Gregg’s photograph and scroll down to Service Details to view his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to On Angels’ Wings Pet Rescue & Resale Store, 6500 Northwest Highway (Route 14), Crystal Lake Plaza, 2D, Crystal Lake, IL 60014, www.angelswings.org.
