George I. Balch PhD, 78

Beloved husband for 56 years of Edith A. Balch nee Figelman. Loving father of Dara (Daniel) Ury and Lani Balch. Proud grandfather of Noah Ury and Adam Ury. Charter member of the Oak Park Runners Club. Former professor of political science at UIC- University of Illinois at Chicago and a marketing consultant for many federal government health agencies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Association for Alzheimer’s Research, 31408 Harper Avenue, Suite 235, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48082, www.alzra.org.
