Obituary
Fred Peckler, 93, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Renee (née Schwarcz) for nearly 72 wonderful years; loving father of Larry (Debbie) Peckler and Wendy (Marc) Denenberg; cherished "Papa" of Marc Peckler, Adam (Ashlee) Epstein, Rachel (Jeffrey) Casser, and Bryan (Stephanie) Epstein; adored great-grandfather of Asher, Oliver, Levi, Mason, and Jackson Epstein, and Bella Casser. He was the devoted son of the late Morris and Helen Peckler; much-loved brother of the late Harriet (the late Sol) Gomberg; dear son in-law of the late Gilbert and Yetta Schwarcz; fond brother-in-law of Sue (Jerry) Goldberg; and a treasured uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Fred was a dedicated and hardworking businessman who successfully operated a transportation company for many years. Generous, loving, and always willing to lend a helping hand, he had a natural gift for all things mechanical and could fix just about anything. A devoted family man, Fred took great pride in raising his children and, in later years, enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved Renee. He loved to cook and savor a good meal, but his proudest and happiest moments were those spent surrounded by his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred was a proud member of B'nai B'rith and will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
