Obituary

Francine “Fran” Baim, nee Leventhal, age 82, of Wheeling and grew up in Hollywood Park; beloved wife for 49 years of Arvin Baim; loving mother of Michelle (Michael) Fink, Robert (Ronna) Baim, and Brian (Angela) Baim; adored grandmother of Jordyn Baim, Brandon Baim, Zachary Fink, and Christina Baim; devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Sally Leventhal. Fran was an extremely dedicated and respected employee at Ballard Nursing Home for almost 30 years. She attended Von Steuben High School and remained close to her friends from high school and grammar school. Fran cherished these life-long friendships. She was a savvy shopper extraordinaire, especially at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. Besides being missed at various department stores, Fran’s family will miss her most of all. She has left an indelible mark on all of our lives.

Service Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Fran’s service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org or the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
