Frances Wein (nee Friedman), 102, April 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Irving for 52 years; loving mother of Philip (Sharon), David (Hollis) and Renee (Pete) Silverman; cherished "Bubbie" of Daniel, Steven, Mark, Avery, Seth, Eli, Gabriel, Jessica (fiancé' Scott Katz) Silverman, Rebecca (Daniel) Kogan, and Samantha (fiancé' Justin Berkson) Silverman; dear sister of the late William (Toby), the late Robert (Carole) Friedman and the late Gertrude Lisagor; devoted daughter of the late Dora and Sam Friedman; aunt, great aunt, and friend of many. A retired teacher at the Chicago Public Schools and Bais Yaakov Hebrew Parochial School, member of Moriah Congregation, and a life member of Hadassah. Memorial donations made to Keshet, www.keshet.org/donate or Clearbrook, www.clearbrook.org/donate would be greatly appreciated. Chapel service, Monday, April 21, 2025; 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
