Obituary

Florence Rhea Treiber, 99, beloved wife to Dr. Marven Treiber (Z'L), mother of Dr. Ronald Treiber (Nancy) and Susan Cohen (Arnold), grandmother of Amyra (Robert), Cari, Shaye, and great-grandson Owen. Florence lived a full life as a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, where she worked at her family's furniture store alongside her parents and three sisters. From a young age, Florence valued spending time with her family and close community of friends. This continued throughout her life. Florence and Marven had a loving marriage for over 65 years and created countless memories with their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, golf, and playing cards. She was sweet, loving, genuine, and a friend to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Monday, Dec. 2, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
