Ferne M. Hurwitz nee Margolin, 94, beloved wife of the late L. Robert Hurwitz; loving mother of Diane (Brian) Churchill, Ronald (Patricia) Hurwitz, and the late Mark (Lynda) Hurwitz; cherished grandma of Elise, Rebecca, Jacob, Leah, and Bobby Hurwitz, Stephanie (Scott) Scully, John Churchill, and Brad Churchill (Christine Marek); adored great grandma Ferne of Kenley; devoted daughter of the late Ella and Enos Margolin; dear sister of Norman (Lynne) Margolin and the late Judy Ohlhausen; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers and in honor of the late L. Robert and Mark Hurwitz, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org Graveside service Wednesday at 12 Noon at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
