Feliks I. Ogorodnik, age 88. Luiza Y. Ogorodnik nee Kolikov, age 84. Loving father and mother of Janina (Vladimir) Schnaper and Irina (Ed) Greenwald. Dear grandfather and grandmother of Daniel, Nathan, Yevginy and Elina. Feliks: Cherished brother of Yevginya (the late Dmitry) Kutovay, Assya Ogorodnik and the late Raisa (the late Mihail) Laevsky. Luiza: Cherished sister of Berta Kolykova Luiza served as a physician in Ukraine. Her interests were books, theatre, and she loved to learn new skills. She was a very energetic woman, full of optimism and life. She loved people and always sought to help those around her. Feliks managed supplies in the construction company in Ukraine. His family was everything to him. He loved gardening and was really good at it. He always shared his harvest with family and neighbors. They both came to the United States more than 20 years ago and were very grateful to be here and become U.S. citizens. They always strived to improve their English and learn more about the United States. They will be greatly missed by their family and friends throughout the world. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie; Private Ceremony. Memorial Service will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster St., Evanston, IL 60202 www.bethemet.org.
