Eve Barbara Schwartz, nee Freedman, age 87.
Beloved partner of Larry Warshaw and devoted wife of the late Dr. Harold Schwartz. Loving mother of Ian (Susan) Schwartz, Ellen Mickelson and Jane Schwartz. Proud grandmother of Emily, Sydney and Justin Schwartz and Hannah Mickelson. Dear sister of Israel Freedman. Eve will be missed by her many friends and family, including the extended Warshaw family, Nan (Mark) and Adam (Melissa) and their children as well as her long-time devoted caregiver and friend Adriana Giammarese. Eve was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut. After graduating from college, she worked as a dietician on the East Coast, and then moved to Evanston, Illinois with her family, where she became a long-time resident. An active member of Beth Emet The Free Synagogue in Evanston, she enjoyed all that the synagogue had to offer, and looked forward to the many Shabbat services she attended. She loved nothing more than cooking for her many friends and family, especially traditional holiday meals. Service Friday 12 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd, (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights.
