Erin M. Weinstein, age 41

Beloved wife of Kenzo Shibata. Loving mother of Judah. Devoted daughter of Sandy (Beryl Blumenthal) and the late Judy Weinstein. Sister of Steve Weinstein. Erin was a proud union organizer for AFSCME. She was a past president of McPherson school council board. She was a dedicated social activist. Board member of Tzedek Chicago and started the early childhood education program there. Above all else her favorite role was being a mother to Judah. Service Wednesday 10 Am at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. To keep everyone safe and healthy, attendees must be masked and maintain social distance.
