Obituary

Eric Black, 41, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on October 26, 2025. His hands were held by his aunt/mom and his Uncle Steve. His siblings were able to share their love before he passed.  Eric was born in Moline, IL on March 28, 1984.  He was the only child of Sheri and Terry Black.  Eric was preceded in death by his amazing mom Sheri and his dad Terry.  Surviving Eric are his aunt/mom Sue (Steve), his brothers’ Lynden (Katelynn), Kev (Elena) and his sister Casie (Anthony).  Eric is survived by his nephew/niece loves-Leo, Roman, Briella, Vinny, Sophia and Liam. Additionally, his devoted Uncle Mitch (Robin).  Eric is also survived by his numerous and amazing friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.  Eric loved cats, puppies, severe weather, Uber Eats, music, cars and his I-phone.  His pleasure in life was connecting with the people he loved.  He had an enormous network of friends that stretched the continent.  He lived to talk to his “people” and to use the gift cards that they bought for him to purchase gifts for them. Our lives are forever blessed with the many memories of Eric.
