Elaine L. Bell, 100 years young

Beloved wife of the late Bernard B. Bell for 71 ½ years. They were high school sweethearts who attended Marshall High School and The University of Chicago together. To Bernie and Elaine, family was everything. Loving mother of Andrea (Martin) Freed and Judy (Jerome) Tatar. Adored Nana of Amy (Joshua) Yulish, Ben (Brooke) Freed, Daniel (Stephanie) Tatar, Michael (Erin) Tatar and Laura Tatar. Treasured great grandmother of Hannah Yulish, Zachary Yulish, Olivia Tatar, Maddy Freed, Emma Freed and Shira Tatar. Caring sister of the late Calvin (the late Marilyn) Lewis and sister-in-law of Pearl (the late Hyman) Hirshfield, the late Lawrence Bell, the late Sara (the late Robert) Busch. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elaine leaves her very grateful family a legacy of love. Service Monday 1:30PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jo-Anne Hirshfield Memorial Poetry Award, c/o the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave., Evanston, Illinois 60201.
