Obituary

Eileen Gold Harris (nee Goldstein), 90, December 20, 2022; beloved wife of the late Herbert Gold and the late Donald Harris; loving mother to her devoted daughters Deborah and the late Lauren; best friend to her longtime companion and love Bernie Rose. Eileen will be dearly missed by her much loved grand dog "Cricket." During her career, Eileen was the development director of the Chicago offices of the Anti-Defamation League and the Simon Weisenthal Center. She created the Chicago chapter of the Dysautonomia Foundation, to raise much needed funds for a genetic marker and cure for Dysautonomia, this became Eileen's passion as her daughter Lauren was born with Dysautonomia. Eileen was also known for her impeccable timeless style as well as her joy of cooking, baking and entertaining. She will be dearly missed by all. In leiu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory to the Dysautonomia Foundation, Chicago Chapter 514 Pleasant Ave. Highland Park, IL 60035, would be greatly appreciated.
