Dr. Edwin F. Berliner, age 88, formerly of Niles, beloved husband and best friend of Francine Berliner, nee Scholl; loving father of Cheryl (Howard) Elkin and Brian (Dana) Berliner; adored grandfather of Dustin (Asha Anne) Elkin, Cameron (Sarah) Elkin, Matthew Berliner, and Evan (fiancée Kandi Tyner) Berliner; step-grandfather to Dana’s children, Brandon and Jeremy Foreman; proud great grandfather of Krishna, Jayan, Wyatt, and Grayson; devoted son of the late Benjamin and the late Mae Berliner; cherished brother of Bobbie Rovner; dear brother-in-law of the late Arnold (late Joyce) Scholl; treasured uncle and friend to many. Eddie was a respected chiropractor for over 50 years. He loved his profession and creating a special relationship with his patients. His smile and unique sense of humor would brighten any room he was in. Most of all, his family meant the world to him. He will be dearly missed by all. Graveside service Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. CT at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand and Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. Eddie’s service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
