Obituary

Eadie Heller, 88, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. She was the devoted wife of the late Jack Heller, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. Eadie dedicated more than 25 years to the JCC, where she was cherished by her colleagues and the Jewish community. Eadie was a beloved mother and best friend to Susie (David) Weiner and Nanci (Richie) Lakin. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren: Matthew (Becca) Weiner, Jacob (Jenny) Weiner, Shanna (Jeff) Rotenberg, Rebecca (Andy) Heymann, and Scott (Rachael) Lakin. Eadie was also a proud Gigi to her eight great-grandchildren: Mason, Harper, Ryen, Shae, Teddy, Charlotte, Drew, and Josie. Born to Morris and Anna Levin, Eadie was the sister of the late Reva (late Irving) Horwitz and Neal (Marcia) Levin. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the joyful spirit she brought to all who knew her. Graveside service Wednesday, October 30th at 3:30 pm CT at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. Eadie’s service will be livestreamed on her webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
