Dorothy Rabin, 96 years young, of Evanston, beloved wife for 47 years of the late Lester Rabin; most wonderful mother of Barbara (Jeffrey) Schulhoff; loving aunt of Iris (Robert) Center, Coleman (partner Mary Sullivan) Kendall, and Josh Kendall; cherished great aunt of Alison (Jeffrey) Merzel; Melissa Center, and Jonathan (Becky) Center; proud great-great aunt of Olivia, Jesse, Maddie, Adam, and Claire; adored daughter of the late Sam and the late Bertha Preminger; treasured sister of the late Linda (late George) Kendall; dear friend to many. Dorothy was an avid tap, ballroom, and jazz dancer and the greatest fan of Fred Astaire. Graveside service Thursday, 10am, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie.
