Obituary

David Solomon, 82, passed away on August 19, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Priscilla (nee' Foreman) for 61 wonderful years; loving father of Sonya (Hap) Piell; cherished "Poppy" of Isla; much loved brother of the late Michael and brother in-law of Gene Foreman and Richie Foreman-Marovitz; loved uncle of James Solomon, Jori Foreman, Lindsay (Kathy Hennis) Foreman and Ali (Noah) Ament; dear great uncle and friend of everyone .David was a successful businessman who worked with his family at Economy Tablet and Paper Company. He then went on to own and operate The Source (a boutique) and ASAP Printing. He loved to work, loved people, made friends with everyone, and always would help those less fortunate; he was truly an amazing man. David and his daughter, Sonya were the only father/daughter Docent team at the Lincoln Park Zoo. As his beloved wife Priscilla stated, "David was Everything." He truly was warmth and sunshine and he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. Memorial donations may be made to Lincoln Park Zoo, www.lpzoo.org/donate. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Wednesday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
