Obituary

David Kleinerman, 97, beloved husband of the late Dolores "Cookie" nee Zakin for 53 years; loving father of Barby (William) Loeb and Francee (Howard "Chip") Hill; cherished grandfather of Jay Goldberg (Sarah Hunzinger), Alison Goldberg and Justin (Lindsey) Schmitz; adored great grandfather of Heidi, Gwendolyn, Henry and Jackson; devoted great uncle and terrific friend to many. He was a retired Professor Emeritus and a former CFO at Roosevelt University and a long-time member of Moriah Congregation in Deerfield, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hebrew Theological College, htc.edu, Roosevelt University, roosevelt.edu or the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, ilholocaustmuseum.org.
