Obituary

David M. Eskoz, 72, December 22, 2022. Beloved son of the late Sidney and Greta; much loved brother of Norman (Paula); cherished uncle of Lauren. Dave graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in English. He was a substitute teacher for Chicago Public Schools for over 20 years. Dave worked for over 19 years at 1111 S. Wabash as a well loved and respected doorman. He enjoyed walking, working out at his fitness club and going to an occasional Cubs game. He loved to read and was always learning; he was a real "how to guy." Later in life, Dave took violin lessons, performed in several recitals and began traveling. He loved his road-trips throughout the states. Dave especially enjoyed family holiday celebrations. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, www.pancan.org/donate, would be greatly appreciated. Chapel service, Tuesday, December 27, 2022; 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
