Obituary

Dr. Daniel L. Levin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 81. He was the devoted husband of Judi Karlen for 10 wonderful years, and a loving father to Micah (Julie), Brendan (Tonya), Erin (Marco) Meier, Ryan (Helena) Gardner, Abigail (Vasilios) Athanasopoulos, Tyler (Stephanie) Gardner, and Sarah (Brad) Yelton. Dan was a proud and cherished "Dan Pa" to his grandchildren: Miller, Rhys, Merritt, Ebem, Elyas, Nolan, Anders, Will, Nikos, Sevi, Ada, and Violet. Dan will be dearly missed by his family and all the lives he touched throughout his life and career. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Guide Dogs of America, www.guidedogsofamerica.org. Graveside service, Friday, June 20, 2025; 3 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
