Obituary

Claire Ross, 93, passed away on April 13, 2024; beloved wife and best friend of the late Serge for 63 wonderful years; loving mother of Lynda and Francine (James Meyer); cherished "Meme" of Joshua (Jeanne) Owens, Cristina Gustafson and Jason (Diana Valencia) Liuzzo; great grandma of Orion and Phoenix Gustafson and Katalina and Bella Liuzzo. Claire was a Holocaust survivor, an active founding member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center where she was a member of the survivor's group, and an active member of Chicago Jewish Elderly. Memorial donations in her honor can be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, www.ilholocaustmuseum.org. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Monday, April 15, 2024; 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
