Obituary

Christine Jane Ackerman nee Berk, born August 15, 1951, passed away on April 8, 2023 surrounded by her family. Chris was the beloved wife of Howard for 42 years; loving mother of Mariel Eve (Adam Inzelberg) and Samantha Ackerman; cherished Safta of Aviv and Ben; sister of Cynthia (the late Walter) Berthold; daughter of the late Arthur Berk and Enid Berk nee Lucas; and a dear friend to many.

A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00am at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.

Shiva will take place at Christine and Howard's home on Tuesday following the funeral services until 9pm, and on Wednesday, April 12th from 12pm - 9pm.
