She worked in Public Relations for the Baltimore Colts football team, and had a twenty-year career as the owner of CR Antiques, dealers in antique estate jewelry, where she was a familiar and beloved presence at antique jewelry events and shows all over the country. Unfailingly generous with her time and resources, her passion for charity work was matched by a love of entertaining, cooking, and decorating, all of which she excelled at.
A staunch advocate for her friends, family, and most of all, her children, Carolyn never gave ground when she was sure that she was in the right. Music was another of her passions, and loved singing and tearing up a dance floor at every opportunity.
