Obituary

Carol Sue Andrews, nee Marks, 80. Beloved wife and best friend for 60 years to Donald; devoted mother of Steven (Melissa) Andrews; proud grandmother of Carly, Jaden, and Shayna Andrews; doting daughter of the late Carl Marks and Adele (the late Marvin) Brody; loving sister of Jeri Marks (Gustavo Jimenez) and the late Richard Marks; dear sister-in-law of Barry (Rivie) Andrews and the late Alan Andrews; caring aunt of Gabriel (Zulma) Jimenez, Jenna Jimenez, David Andrews, Paula (Philip) Zacharia, Dana (Michael) Roy, Stacy (Josh) Margolis, and Erika Zuhlke; fond cousin of Alice (Donald) Schindel, Susan (Michael) Yost, Judi (Jess) Harris, and Andrea (Michael) Glickman; will be deeply missed by extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Rachael Holla for her dedicated and compassionate care. Carol grew up on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from Bowen High School. She worked as a marketing executive, spending many years at Danis Research. She was creative, funny, and fiercely loyal to her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, www.dementiasociety.org. Memorial service Monday, April 28, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W.
