Obituary

Carleen Phyllis Basso (nee Kreshtool), of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at the age of 78. She is survived by her children, Jason (Bridget) Basso, Tamara (late Lawrence) Bensky, and Lana (Dana) Ferraris; brother, Alan Kreshtool; grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, and Hannah Basso, Gabriella and Katelyn Bensky, and Vincent and Max Ferraris; in-laws, Linda Kreshtool, Barbara Kreshtool, Dino (Florence) Basso, and Atilia Marasa; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Carleen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Basso; siblings, Kenneth Kreshtool, Naomi Dorsey, and Sydney Kreshtool; in-laws, Alex (Catherine) Basso and John Marasa; parents, Helen and Max Kreshtool; and dear friend, Beverly Adkins.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, September 20th, 2021 at 2:15 PM. Masks are required inside the funeral home. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park - Sykesville, MD. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215, or Beth El Congregation, 8101 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208. The family will be in mourning at 11 Quarterhorse Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117 immediately following interment.
