Obituary

Bruce Weissman (October 21, 1951 - June 21, 2022), son of Jack and Bernice Weissman (both deceased), loving brother of David Weissman (Ann Hubbs) and Ellen Weissman, uncle of Adam Weissman, Noah and Clara Montgomery. Born in Chicago and raised in Skokie, he attended Illinois State University and received his MBA at DePaul University. He worked in advertising sales in the publishing industry. Bruce spent his life in the Chicago area and maintained lifelong friendships with a group of close friends. He was tenacious and fought severe illness relentlessly and courageously at the end of his life, fueled by his innate determination and his religious convictions. He found friendship and solace in the Orthodox community and forged meaningful relationships with his rabbis and community. Graveside services Thursday 2PM at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish United Fund, 30 South Wells Street, Room 3134, Chicago, IL 60606, www.juf.org or Jewish Community Centers (JCC) of Chicago, Attn: Development Team, 300 Revere Drive, Northbrook, IL 60062, www.jccchicago.org.
