Obituary

Beverly Dennison, age 72, died peacefully at home on Monday, February 12, 2024 with her partner of 22 years, Brian Machado, by her side. Beverly was the daughter of the late Jerome and Marilyn ( nee Friedman ) Dennison, sister of Ricki Dennison Marks, aunt to Jason (Lauren) Marks and Randi (Adam Skelton) Marks, and great aunt to Maxine and Zachary Marks. She had a big heart and was a devoted friend to many.Beverly grew up in Peoria, Illinois and attended Richwoods High School. After moving to the Chicago area, her love of dogs led her to attend dog grooming school. Later she opened two Dog Barber grooming shops. Beverly achieved the Master Groomer status and instructed many students in her career. One of her favorite dog breeds was the English Springer Spaniel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to English Springer Rescue America, Inc or ESRA at www.Springerrescue.org Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Memorial service, Thursday, February 29, 2024; 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
