Bernice Oliff, nee Edelstein, 93; beloved wife for 47 years of the late Eli; loving and devoted mother of Basia (Dr. Joel) Retsky and Dr. Ira (Dr. Irma) Oliff; adored and adoring Bubbie of Alyssa, Dr. Rachel, and Aaron Retsky and Natan (Shirah), Leah, Tova and Yosef Oliff; treasured aunt, cousin, and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, www.ilholocaustmusuem.org, or The Ark, www.arkchicago.org. Chapel service Monday, Jan. 15, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
