Ben Herman, age 94, former owner of Vanity City, in Evanston; beloved husband for 65 years of the late Marianne Herman, it speaks volumes about their deep love for each other, that Ben waited to pass on the same day as Marianne’s passing; loving father of Allen Herman and Jill (Robb) Satten; adored Poppy of Jordyn Satten; proud great grandfather of Skyler, Isabelle, and Aiden; devoted son of the late Ruben and the late Sarah Herman; cherished brother of the late David Herman, late Ida (late Sol) Slovin, late Jennie (late Nat) Newman, and late Edythe (late Mort) Berson; treasured uncle and friend to many. Ben was known for his fashionable cowboy boots, young demeanor, and his beautiful smile. He will be so dearly missed by his family.
